    Built for Cin7 Core, not bolted on

    Generic POD apps make you map fields, sync via Zapier, and reconcile credits by hand. Cin7 POD reads your Sale objects directly through the Cin7 Core API. You enter your Account ID and Application Key once in Settings, choose a Trigger Stage (Pick, Pack or Ship), and orders appear in the driver app as soon as they’re ready to leave the warehouse.

    1. Sync — Cin7 sales orders pulled into the app at your chosen fulfilment stage.

    3. Deliver — driver completes pre-trip inspection, navigates stop-by-stop, captures proof at each drop.
    4. Notify — customer gets email or SMS confirmation with the POD PDF attached.
    5. Resolve — shortfalls or damage trigger a Credit Note back into Cin7 automatically.

    Frequently asked questions

    Does it work with Cin7 Omni or Cin7 Orderhive?
    No. Cin7 POD is built specifically for Cin7 Core (formerly DEAR Systems). The Omni and Orderhive platforms have their own delivery workflows.

    Do I need to install anything on driver phones?
    No. Cin7 POD runs in any modern mobile browser — drivers open a URL, log in, and they’re working. No App Store or Play Store install.

    What does setup actually involve?
    Generate API credentials in Cin7 Core (Settings → API Application), paste them into Cin7 POD’s Settings page, choose a Trigger Stage. Most accounts are syncing within ten minutes.

    Where does the credit note end up?
    Posted back to Cin7 Core via API, attached to the original sale, with the short or damaged line items and quantities pre-filled. From there it follows your normal credit-note process.

    Can drivers work offline?
    Limited. Captures need network to write back to Cin7 in real time. The driver UI is built for a phone in a delivery van with cellular coverage, not an off-grid run.

    Is this related to Cin7’s own software?
    No. Cin7 POD is an independent Software4Business product that integrates with Cin7 Core through its public API. It’s not endorsed or resold by Cin7 Pty Ltd.
