The starting point
Titan RV is an Australian wholesaler of recreational vehicle accessories — specialised equipment, caravan parts, and the kind of slow-moving, deep-catalogue stock that punishes any business running on spreadsheets. Led by Ashley Gill, the team was hitting the limits of what manual stock control could handle. Orders were growing, the warehouse was busier, and the back office was spending more time chasing inventory than serving customers.
They needed an inventory platform that could do three things well: handle a deep product catalogue with variants and supplier pricing, integrate cleanly with their accounting, and connect to the payment and shipping tools they already used. Cin7 Core fit. Software4Business was brought in to implement it.
What we built
1. A clean Cin7 Core implementation
Product catalogue, suppliers, customers, and chart of accounts mapped properly from day one. No imported spreadsheet mess. Locations and stock levels reconciled to a single source of truth.
2. Xero integration done right
Cin7 Core handles inventory, sales, purchases, and stock movements. Xero handles the financial side. The two are wired natively — no parallel data entry, no end-of-month reconciliation pain.
3. Payment & shipping portal connections
The integrations Titan RV already relied on were plugged into Cin7 Core, so orders flow from web/phone all the way through to dispatch without re-keying.
4. A team that owns the system
The implementation included structured training for Nat Vogelsang, Titan RV’s administrative lead. Inside months she was running the day-to-day, training the rest of the team, and now leads the rollout to the new Redfoot Levelling brand.

Why it worked
Cin7 Core gave Titan RV a real inventory platform — not a spreadsheet, not an entry-level tool that would buckle under volume. But the platform alone was not enough. Three things made the difference:
- The implementation was set up properly the first time. Clean masters, sensible chart of accounts mapping, real Xero integration. Nothing to unwind later.
- The team was trained to own it. When the second brand spun up, Titan RV’s own people led the rollout. They are not dependent on us for day-to-day operation.
- The relationship is ongoing. When Titan RV needed to add Redfoot Levelling on the same stack, the foundation was already there. New brand, same platform, no rebuild.
If you are a wholesaler, distributor, or product business hitting the limits of spreadsheets or an entry-level tool, we can talk you through what a Cin7 Core implementation actually looks like — honestly, including where it’s the wrong choice.
