    The two platforms we’re specialists in: Cin7 Core and Odoo

    We don’t implement everything. We’ve gone deep on the two platforms that fit Australian SMEs best — Cin7 Core for inventory-led businesses, Odoo for full ERP. Same consultant scopes both, gives you the straight call on which fits, then implements it properly.

    Why these two

    Most ERP and inventory platforms in this market are either too thin (Xero add-ons that hit a ceiling at $5M revenue) or too heavy (NetSuite and SAP B1 implementations that take 18 months and never finish). Cin7 Core and Odoo sit in the right band: cloud-native, properly featured, priced for Australian SMEs, and extensible without rewriting the world.

    Best for: inventory-led wholesalers, distributors, eCommerce brands, light assembly.

    Strengths: Shopify and Xero integration out of the box, fast to stand up, multi-channel order management, lot/batch tracking, light manufacturing.

    Limits: not a full ERP — no native CRM, no advanced HR, light project costing.

    Limits: heavier implementation, needs a partner — DIY rarely lands well.

    How we decide which fits you

    In a 30-minute discovery call we’ll usually know. The questions that decide it:

    • Is your bottleneck inventory and order flow, or is it broader (CRM, projects, manufacturing, HR all in one)?
    • Do you sell mostly through Shopify/eCom channels, or B2B with quoting and sales teams?
    • Are you doing real manufacturing (multi-stage routings, work centres) or light assembly (kitting, BOMs)?
    • What’s your appetite for implementation effort — fast and focused, or strategic and broad?

    If both could work, we’ll tell you. If neither is right, we’ll point you elsewhere — we’d rather lose the deal than implement the wrong tool.
